Hi.

I am currently using my dads 320BEE, But i was looking at the Cambridge Audio A5. Is there a big diffrence or is the a noticeble diffrents between the two?.

Am using B&W 685's and stands with QED Silver Ani cable.

Or what else is there around this sort of price range?, I dont want an amp thats bright sounding either.

Thanks

What Hi Fi tends to prefer Cambridge, but NAD products often have better specs. If there is any difference at all (which seems unlikely), you will only find out by listening.

no surprise there  Its a British rag reporting on a British product. Few North American products get good marks with them

I've owned the C320BEE with B&W 601's. Loved the sound. I've heard the same speakers with Cambridge and loved that sound also. I don't think there's two hoots of difference between the two. Either would do fine.

Well i went to Richersounds today and bought an CA Azur 340A to try. Well i must say its a pretty good amp!, And IMO its not as bright nor does the midrange come thought a much, So it really does suit my taste better as i find the NAD's highs and midrange (vocal) to be alittle harsh and you think *wow thats abit cringing). It still packs good base the same as the NAD is not alittle tighter.

So am happy, But i have just the Azur 340A SE which is suposed to be alitle better.
