What's wrong with the Seinfeld cast?

So, it's seems this thread has driven it's course. Perhaps all the naysayers (on Seinfield) would be so kind as to offer the names of their favorite comedians.

I liked the Seinfield show just fine, it wasn't till the show was on for years before i ever saw an episode,what other show has an idiot who baste's his entire body in butter,then goees on the roof to lay in the sun & goes to sleep.

Cant even begit to start in on the gooft stuff George did,he was the star of the show.

My favorite comedian's would be Don Rickles,Sam Kinnison & The Dice Man.

And then goes to his black girlfriend's parents' house all darkened because of the sun. Oops. And then gets "seasoned" in the kitchen with a tray of spices, which sticks to him because of the butter. And then his chubby little frien eyes him up like an entree...a chicken leg! Hilarious.

Funny comics. Rickles is from that Jonathon Winters era.

So, just to get it right highfi, you're fond of, how shall we say, IN YOUR FACE humor?

You mean besides the fact they all act in probably one of the worst things on television to date? I truly cannot understand what anyone finds in that show that is:

A- Entertaining
B- Funny
C- Worth watching. Frankly, I would rather stare at a wall than watch that show.

Agreed, and the biggest reason I couldn't watch it was Seinfeld himself. He's just bad.

I would see the show for the reasons HH pointed out (in this order): Kramer, George's parents, George, Newman, Elaine. Jerry was needed as the "straight guy" to foil the lunacy created by the rest, if not the show would evolve into a 3 Stooges slap fest.

It's ironic how some identify (see the humor) in Homie...and other's don't. Homie don't play that.

In Living Color. J-Lo and Jim Carrey got their first career break in that show. I loved Firemarshall Bill.

Well, I don't know who can't see that Seinfeld and King are friends. And that the question King asked of Seinfeld was a huge, ironic setup for his dry humor. The question posed by King was a well known fact around the globe ten years ago. Sheeeesh.

well, now you know I can't see what King and Seinfeld's relationship is. how should I know who sleeps with who?

yes I knew Seinfeld had the greatest show on earth, but I also heard rumors King was getting senile, I'd say that was a pretty great setup for a bad question.

You guys are like the guy that goes to the Laugh Factory when he's grumpy...irritable...incorrigible. He goes not to laugh and get in a good mood, but to heckle and cajole.

I don't know what you mean about the laugh factory thing.

If you don't get it...don't. And move on. Leave the laughs for the ones that can get it. (It's really not that deep after all. It's pretty simple humor.).

I didn't even know it was a joke, what's to get? ok so you're really smart and I'm really slow. Question is what % of the people did "get" it.

Is it just me or was Elaine smoking hot or what,i dont mean the Actress Juliett Dryfus im talking about the role she played as Elaine,that sexy nerd thing kills me.
