Ordered 20-39PCi

I ordered a 20-39PCi to replace my STF-1 HSU subwoofer. After spending about 2 weeks on this site and others reading and researching I choose SVS, should be here Friday.

gave my Wife the choice of what she thinks looks the best too, and she chose the cylinders.

My choices where:
HSU vtf-2 mk3
Epik Valor and Knight
SVS 25-31 PCi
SVS 20-39PCi
the 10" Box sub and 12 Box sub NSB from SVS.

Looking to sell the HSU STF-1....

Yeah, it's huge... wait till you see the box... the sub is 16" in diameter, and 40" tall, but it will rock your world!

Well done! I bought one for my son for Christmas. He loves it. I keep asking hime to take some pictures to post. I have listened to both the SVS 'manly' cylinder and my Outlaw and would not want to live on the difference.

I figured since she was so nice to let me have a new subwoofer, I thought that I should let her pic it out after I narrowed it down some...

NOT FRIDAY

All the driver wants to do is go home for the weekend and have a couple of cool suds. He will be driving that truck like a lunatic with it's cargo slamming around inside. All they want to do is literally "Drop" the cargo and go.

Now now... don't get the guy all worried... SVS packages extremely well, and it comes on a pallet... Unless someone sticks the darn thing with a forklift, you should have no issues whatsoever...

There is some good news. From what I've heard, the cylinder subs are much easier to move around once you get it. Setup should be a breeze.

All kidding aside. It's funny you should say that. That is exactly what happened to my first SVS. I said to myself, "never seen that port in the photo's before".

SVS shipped out another sub that day.

You should feel welcomed into the Audioholics family now. They did the same thing, joking about it falling off the truck, forklift holes, general mayhem...., when I announced I ordered mine this summer.

After I got over my anxiety attack, I felt all warm and fuzzy and knew I was an Audioholic

It is a known fact that subs only arrive on Tuesdays. They tell you Friday just to drive you crazy. It will be the longest weekend of your life!!!!!!

Exactly! They'll claim they came by the house and you weren't there(of course they won't actually stop to check either) and then your new sub will be all alone at the UPS distribution center 40 miles away from your home all weekend!

Ouch!! Okay so I was wrong.

hondajake, UPS will drop your sub on a Tuesday, when they actually said they would deliver it on the previous Friday. But that is only after the forklift driver has punched a hole in it with the forklift and it has also fallen off the back of the delivery truck on a major freeway.
