Need help picking a power conditioner / surge protector

Ok I'm looking at the Belkin Pure Av pf60. It's on sale for $200 at new egg, it lists for $600. I'm also considering the pf31 for $140. I'm also looking at the monster cable 2600 for $230.

I'm open to suggestions too. Thanks

I bought the APC H10 so I could plug all power cords into it and eliminate the mess behind the AV stand. It works as advertised and I have only one minimal criticism of it - there doesn't seem to be much difference between the 8 levels of dim and the lowest setting is still somewhat brighter than I would like.

I wouldn't say it does anything to 'improve' the audio or video but for me it is convenient to plug everything into and every once in awhile the boost or cut light will illuminate, indicating that it has corrected an over or undervoltage situation.

Have not hooked it up yet, other than plugging it in to make sure it turned on (E-bay purchase $275US), but will post comments when I do.

Its a Series Mode Surge Protector that also has phone and Coax in/out.

After reading that and a bunch of other articles about Series Mode protectors, I don't see the reason of buying an expensive MOV Surge Protectors.

Man what a rip off. I knew I should have jumped on that last night. Newegg had 17 Pure av surge protectors listed lastnight, now they have 16. They have the pf60 in black for $260, but the silver was on sale for 200. Just goes to show you don't wait around.
