Oh no you didn't...

If you have the time you should really watch the "Type R Legend" Video(google). The first part is for the older NSX-R.

The NSX doesn't have great straight line speed, but it will destroy anything in corners. It has one of the fastest corner entry and exist speeds of any car in it's class.

Good one sheep...i think u have mentioned this in several other posts to those u bash Honda...:D...

Some people may have driven in nice cars..but it doesn't mean they know the difference. Comfy seats don't always mean great cars..

My next car is going to be one of those older Fiat convertibles that I want to restore. What a fun car!
Take mine, please. What a load of trouble those are. We have an '81 Spider. It's the only car my wife put in her name so that I can't sell it on her. Otherwise, it would have been gone a long time ago. We drove it a couple of years, as much as we could keep it on the road. I put it up on blocks in the garage about 4 years ago and that's the best place for it. I don't want to fix it and my wife won't let me sell it. It's a Mexican standoff here.

Seriously, get an older Miata.

Too bad Honda can't translate those stats into their formula one cars or finish races :p Remind me which team had their secrets robbed recently. Honda like so many other Japanese companies aren't innovators, they're copiers.

Just like in audio, stats aren't everything when it comes to cars. There are two types of people when it comes to buying cars. Those who care about every ounce of performance, the enthusiasts and car geeks. Then there are those who drive cars for prestige. Me, I personally don't care if the NSX slightly out-corners the Ferrari as US roads aren't the place for fast driving, rather which car will get me girls and in this sense, the Ferrari destroys the NSX.

All that said, I generally like Honda cars, but feel Honda, Toyota, and all these front-runners have started to get sloppy lately and are overpricing their cars. I've traditionally driven European cars, but they fall apart even more than American cars these days. And Americans still haven't gotten themselves together. In short, all cars suck.

I know, it's a terrible car from a reliability standpoint. After living with one of my relatives in Italy who had one, I just have a soft spot for them.

Then there are two options. Get a duplicate credit card and leave it with your local mechanic or change your name to Tony (if your going to be the one fixing it again).:D

You obviously DO NOT live in Fort Lauderdale or Miami. (home of the nicest cars in America)
I've seen tons of Ferrari's that don't get a second glance, but a nicely painted NSX will get a second glance EVERY time.

Ah yes. I lived in Lauderdale Tower (across the intracoastal from Shooters) for two years and almost bought a place in Highland Beach recently. At the time I lived in FL, Diablo's were even easy to find. NSX gets a glance simply because there aren't many of them on the road. Same could be said for a Lotus.

Is the Toy Store still around on Sunrise Boulevard?

Ah yes. I lived
Ah yes, I live here.
A Viper as well a NSX (although both are a dime a dozen down here) are still easy chick magnets.

But then again, look at the type of chicks we are talking about.
Clearly nothing a normal man would want for more than a one night thing.

That is unless you enjoy having a chick/woman that only wants you because of your car (aka: GOLD-DIGGER).

Pretty pathetic, if you ask me.

You are supposed to fall in love with Vespa in that case.

There's no need to let insults fly. I've been married for 4 years now and have no interest in young gold-diggers anymore. I was simply making a few points. One point is that cars are terrible investments that only drain money. Driving a Ferrari is basically saying, I made it in the world. Or that I lack somewhere else depending on your perspective. The same is true for a Viper, NSX, or any other expensive car. Some drive for fun, some for girls, some like me, just to get to work. In my youth, I'd go with girls. To each their own.

There's no need to let insults fly especially since you don't know I've been married for 4 years
Letting others know your personal business, was not my intention.

If by chance it insulted YOU. I will say I am sorry, that you went there????

But it was clearly generalized for the masses, not the perspective of one.

I don't think NSX is that highly priced in the Viper/Ferrari category...not that it isn't expensive.

I did feel an insult, although, I admit, I walked into by speaking in the first person to make a point so I deserved it.

I'd still take a Ferrari being Italian and all :p

LOL, have you ever tried working on one?

No offense (as clearly some people are taking offense for no reason),
But yes, I have, I worked for a Corvette specialist garage, and we always got the 'unknown problem' cars.
That included the NSX, as well many others, in this catergory.
(by others I do mean Vipers, all higher line BMW, Mercedes, etc...)
As well it (the garage) was one of only a handful a true Dyno machines around, so we also tuned many race cars.

Nobody mentioned about cars as investments nor cars are good investment at any point. When you buy your audio gears, is it your passion or are you thinking of buying a good investment?

Good point.

Cars like speakers are subjective. Drive as many as possible and buy what you like.

Are you talking about the mods and all the repairs that need to be done on one? Ah yeah, i'm pretty sure i know how much that might cost. I wasn't referring to that cost comparison.

I'll still get an NSX and second might be the Bugatti Veyron.

LOL, beat me to it again. I realized that and removed that line. But, what the heck.

I prefer luxury to sporty, but have no idea what's on top these days when it comes to pure luxury. I guess Rolls or Bentley as that's what the TV and magazines tell me is good  Hopefully they have Bose speakers which the same TV and magazines tell me is good. :)
