Polk R50's Question

I recently bought the Polk R50's for my front speakers. I was wondering if down the line if I upgrade my fronts, would I be able to move those R50's (they are towers) as my surround sound speaker? If so what would the sound quality be like?

Yes you can move them to the back as surrounds.

And they would sound in the rear, like they sound up front.

That would be a good thing to do, those would make for some darn fine surround speakers.

I have the r50's as my fronts and bought some r30's for my rear surrounds and they sound pretty good. Then when I upgrade my fronts ill use the r50's as surrounds and r30's for bedroom duty.
