My wife actually has a bit of a coffee fetish. About 1/4 of our kitchen is dedicated to coffee. Right now, I'm looking at a coffee maker, kettle, two espresso makers and a milk frother on the counter right now, plus a jar of coffee, tins of coffee and sugar and a cocoa/sugar shaker. Never mind the cabinets full of mugs, coffee paraphernalia and coffee in the freezer. The Green Faerie has some stiff competition in our house.

Yes, it has an anise taste. It all depends on how much wormwood is in it that gives it that distinct flavor. As of 2007 absinthe is allowed in the USA as long as it has a very low amount of thujone. But it's amazing what you can find on the internet and what the US mail will deliver.
