This all depends on the individual speaker.

All other things being equal, a speaker design with two woofers will have more volume at the lower frequencies than the same speaker design with a single woofer of the same size. A transmission line speaker system for example use a single woofer in their designs and rival many multiwoofer designs in bass output. This is an example of things not being equal.

A common practice in speaker design is to replace one large woofer with two smaller ones having the same total surface area. This allows for a narrower baffle. (Some manufacturers claim that it allows for "tighter" bass also, but I find this dubious.)

The woofer, cabinet, and the rest of the speaker will determine the difference. Generally they're is multiple woofers for more output. I wouldn't worry about it though, man invented the subwoofer for a reason.

Hey, how does that work? With the thanks the posts can be looked up and tracked. That reputation thing is like a secret ballot? BTW it said that I had to spread some reputation around before adding to yours . IIRC you can leave a permanent black mark also with that thing. Any way to track that?

actually, that thing and the thanks button are similar, except that the thanks button increases in increments of 1 at a time. the scale thing will affect you depending on how many rep points the person who gave it to you has himself.

Wrong. The Scale is affected by posts.

Example, if someone with 30 posts gives me a negative chicklet, it doesn't do anything to me, it appears grey. If I however, give them a negative chicklet, their green chicklet that appears on every post post will turn red due to the high damage.

Choose wisely before you give the wrong person a negative chicklet.

Your 5 most current chicklets appear in your user CP. They are anonymous unless you write your name in the blurb. Most people don't when they give a negative. I do. There is no way to see all of them however.

i think it's based on the rep, you yourself have 3 chicklets. so when you give someone rep, it's got a lot of points.

I always use the Scale, and then the Thanks button. And I always sign my name. Check your UserCP, I just might have left you positive feedback.

This is me telling you it's not. I haven't had 3, let alone 2 chicklets for that long. I have however had plenty of posts.
