Hello to all-I am the owner of a pair of Axiom Audio M80 speakers which I am considering replacing w/ one of two (so far) possible speaker lines....
The two choices are Axiom Audio's M22's w/ the VP150 center channel OR a pair of Usher Audio V-601'S & their V-603 center channel (the Ushers are on sale to match at a price point w/ the Axioms).
The reason for this is I just need speakers w/ a smaller foot print in my living room.
I've really liked my Axiom M80's so I'm writing to ask if any one has real world experience w/ the Ushers & any thoughts or considerations I should be paying attention to...both choices seem to have similar specs, the Axioms maybe a bit better on efficiency...anything else I need to heed?
I'll be driving either speaker choice them w/ a Sherborne amp thru an Emotiva pre-pro from a Marantz universal player & all Blue Jeans cables from start to finish.
Thank you!
P.S.-I have only found these two manufacturers that have high quality bookshelf/monitor size speakers in a wood veneer look @ this price point for the trio...I can't stand piano black finishes!
Thanks again!
