Vintage speaker question

They look like speakers containing the full range down firing Walsh driver to me. I remember them being marketed under the OHM brand. Can you give us a picture with the grill off, then I will confirm for you and tell you about them, if the do indeed contain the Walsh driver.

Actually, this speaker, if I remember correctly, has an angled up baffle, maybe a 20-30 degree inclination with the mid-bass attached, and a Heil motion transformer tweeter attached above it, radiating energy to the front and back.

If this is that speaker, it requires special room set up. Place no closer than 4' to a rear wall, and about 2' from side walls. Special acoustic treatment placement would be highly beneficial.

If the woofer foam surrounds have deteriorated, Orange County speakers can repair them.

Thanks for the info everybody.WmAx is correct.They were given to my brother by a friend who got them new overseas.The foam surrounds are in excellent condition.Will be bringing them home next Friday - YAY !!!!!!! Already tested them with a older Yamaha receiver.Can't wait to see how they sound with my new HK receiver.

Great speakers. I had pair I would say 25 years ago. I also have a pair of Grills new in unopened box in dark brown. I don't even know what they look like, they've been in my mothers basement for about the same amount of years.
