Out of all of those, I would go for the DPS10, Polk is known for making pretty weak subs. What is your budget? There are plenty of other companies out there that will give you way more bang for the buck.

None of the above. As Glocks asked, what is your budget and also about how big is your room?

And a step further,
Are you willing to buy from internet direct companies?
Will you be buying the sub in the USA?

Where are you located? I was able to purchase a dps-12 for 300$ on special the other day at Future Shop (boxing day sale price)- here in Canada, I havent received it yet, but from the reviews I read here, for that price, its a very good sub.
I would recommend you shop around and get the dps-12 on a special.

That's a pretty big room to fill with bass. A 12" or larger woofer is a MUST (two would be better).

Here's a couple more options:

I know these are out of your price range, but HSU is running a couple sales:

And SVS always has a selection of B-stock:

You can always save up for the Emotiva DRS-1 set which would give you two subs:

I got a chance to play with them at the Audioholics State of the CEU 2007 show. They are very compact 12" sealed boxes. This is a MAJOR plus if dealing with WAF. Since the amp is located by your components you don't have to run expensive RCA sub cables, just speaker wire. The front baffles are milled alluminum (very cool).

Sorry for the lousy pics. The sub amp is in the middle.

Monster

How come I can't find anything in here on the Monster Eleganza Godfather Sub? Has anyone heard of it? If so what do you think? I know it's a 15" with a 1000 watt amp and that it's a corner piece.
