Odd question about Acoustic panels

Can you hang for example a paint canvas with no frame in front of an acoustic panel or does that defeat the purpose? Basically is there a way to hide a panel with some WAF items?

I wish it was so easy but if you cant easily breath through it; it wont work.

Ahh ok well I found some GIK panels that have a patten that she likes so she is letting me get 3 custom panels in the 3 different patterns that will make one big panel. Only question that remains is what kind of panel would you put right behind the couch which is right against the back wall? I was thinking a 242 panel?

I'd want to see the whole room before giving a definitive answer. The 242 is the logical choice as they're sold in sets of 3. Also, we've just introduced the Elite series 242 that has a stained wood frame (choice of stains offered) that may have higher WAF.
