All it took was a phone call? C'mon. I'd say that this facility is gonna have some serious answering to do, and possibly some lawsuits to contend with.

Just goes to show... Well, it doesn't really show anything - but I'm sure there will be some kind of new law or something made to counteract the general stupidity of the staff and lack of common sense and policy/procedure.

Using electrical shock for punishment is so, well, medieval.

For some sort of proven therapy like a cardioversion, perhaps, but for punishment? I don't think so.
