The Dark Knight trailer from I Am Legend

Just saw I Am Legend last night and they showed a 3 min trailer for The Dark Knight. All I can say is that it is looking like it's going to be just as good as Batman Begins. At first I was a bit skeptical after learning that Heath Ledger was cast as joker but from the trailer he was doing a very good job. The joker makeup looks exactly like Tales of the Dark Knight which is actually a good thing since that Joker is considered the most ruthless version of them all. In the comics he was a hardcore killer with absolutely no remorse unlike the toned down Jack Nicholson version.

Ohh and thank god they replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gylenhaal!

I never really read the comics, so I actually quite enjoyed Nicholson's performance as the Joker.

Nicholson did a perfect job as the regular joker as the Batman/Detective Comics one. But Tales of the Dark Knight is a much darker version. It is basically the version that Bob Kane really wanted but thought it would be way too dark for mainstream comics. Back in the day it wouldn't have worked out.

Now Bale's batman is really the way Batman was supposed to be, no sidekicks ever! Also this Joker is completely insane. I mean if you think Nicholson's Joker was insane, this one is worse. Also Christopher Nolan has already said that as long as he is directing Bale there will no Robin ever.

Thanks for the background- I LOVED BB and I'm looking forward to Dark Knight. Christian Bale was outstanding as Batman.
