I need your help please...

Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. This seems like a great community for technological subjects, keep it up!!

Anyway, I'm a total newbie with sound devices and I'd like to ask for your help if it's not much trouble...

Well, I have a Sound Blaster 5.1 Live sound card in my pc and 2 typical speakers connected, nothing special... A friend of mine gave me today a sub woofer he no longer needs (Cinema 5200 is written on the back, the brand is Dreamax) and I don't know how to connect it.

I will post 2 photos of it so you can tell me what kind of cords I will need to buy and how to connect it to my sound card...

I hope I put the thread in the correct place...

Never heard of the brand.
It may be a UK based brand. (but barely can read sticker, it looks like made in china)

All those connectors are outputs, except the one that looks like a DIN plug.

So short of finding the exact input plug, you might be able to wire in your own DIN cable.
Does the plug look like one of these (see halfway down page).

Radio Shack does have pre-wired DIN connectors, but you would be best finding the wiring schematic.
It could be more of a hassle than it is worth.

You could get just the plug, and wire it yourself. But as stated, basic schematic would be helpful.

Also if I am seeing correctly, the AC plug is European. So, I may have been correct in thinking UK company.
Granted, it may have been contructed in China. ???
