Here's one for the older guy's,anybody remember how you could get pop for free (stealing) from the vending machines with these type bottles,i swear i never ever paid for soda pop when i was a kid

Yes I do. We used the opener on our boy scout knife to pull the top off while it was in the horizital dispencing machines. You buy one bottle, empty it make a funnel out of the candy bar bag & pull the top off one in the machine.

Chains of those were used as decoration when I was in middle school. By high school, they were gone.

I remember those pop-top chains.
