It's just not that simple; you have to listen for yourself and see what you like. They are all good speakers.

Audio Advisor has the RC-10's on sale for $350/pr
They have a 30 day return policy if you don't like them.

I agree that you should listen to them yourself and decide which one is better.

Greg and Audioman are correct, but seemed to miss the point that you have nowhere to go to audition. I auditioned the B25's, and to me they sounded superior to Monitor Audio BR2, and I am a MA fan. All the reviews I have read regarding them tend to back up what I auditioned.

Now, I have not auditioned the others, so I will not comment on those choices.

Saturday Audio has the B25's (maple) for $299.00/pair. If you like Monitor Audio they are also the MA clearance center for the US, and a MA dealer.

I haven't heard the RBH so I can't comment on them. Between Energy and PSB, its PSB all the way. The B25s are just a great smooth speaker providing suprising amount of bass for its size, smooth midrange, and good detailed highs without sounding harsh or grating. These speakers image capabilities are phenomenal as well.

When you get them hooked let us know how it went. The B25 can also be used as surrounds, just somewhat bigger than the B15.

you're such a fanboy:p. I have listen to both the RC10's and the B25's. However not side by side, sold by different dealers;). IMHO there's a reason the Rc's list for nearly twice as much and retail for about 50% more, but then again the B25's do rock. I hope the POSTER has a good sub because the b15's are relatively small for a 12x18 room.
Just my 2 cents

:p Fanboy?? Nah, it goes much deeper than that. :D. Out of all the speakers I audtioned here in Canada, the Image series never failed to impress me. I've heard the Axioms M50 thru to the M80s and they were good but a little too bright. I've audtioned some of the Paradigm Monitor series and found the bass not to be near as tight as the Image series. The Energies are good but they are more expensive. Geeze, I remmber hearing the Energy 22s, the ones that put Energy on the map. They were an awesome speaker. I love the sound of Totems as well but that never got mentioned. Problem with Totems is that you need a stout amp to drive them because of their 4ohm impedance and relatively low sensitivity. There a few speakers I would love to hear from Focus Audio and Gershwin but never got the chance.

I agree with you that the b15s are small for a room of that size and should be augmented with a sub. I have th eolder 1Bs and I use them as my surrounds.

If you want Image's I bought B25's at less than Audio Advisor's price for B15's from www.saturdayaudio.com. And, I paid a higher price 'cause wanted black. They have a special on maple color, the B15's at $229.00/pr. (AA is $379.00/pr), and the B25's at $299.00/pr. (AA is $479.00/pr.). $150.00 savings on the B15's, and $180.00 savings on B25's.

Since you are willing to spend anywhere from $350.00 to $380.00 for RC's or B15's, let me suggest Monitor Audio S1 for $399.00/pr. from SA also. The S2 is $449.00/pr., but from what you have mentioned Monitor Audio S1 the one you would like. Personally I find MA's S1 to be a better speaker than Energy RC10, or PSB's B15 or B25.

Saturdayaudio always offer great deals and often better prices than AA. However, from time to time AA offer some great deals and the RC10's are just that. I will not go out on the limb and say they're are better the MA silvers(haven't heard them;)), but both are seriously good speakers and come in at less than 400.00 would cause me to scratch my head:).

Good luck nosferatu in your decision, Billy p and I'll leave you with this http://www.soundstage.com/revequip/energy_rc10.htm

Let us know how it went, and the final results of your purchase...

Billy P...I auditioned both Monitor's mentioned, and for my taste they were better than the PSB's, as they were more detailed in the mid's, seemed to have the right amount of bass, and the highs were like intended, they didn't add or took away from the high's. Haven't had the pleasure of auditioning the RC10's, but my personal experience with Energy speakers is that I find them like they add to the high's or that they have too much detail, something like Klipsh, and to me it becomes fatiguing after listening to them for awhile.

Klipsch give me a break:rolleyes:!! Energy and PSB are similar in their sound reproduction. The RC10's seem to have a more refined sound, than the b25's. Can I ask which Energy have you auditioned(since you haven't heard the RC's don't make generalizations)? The Rc's are a relatively new speaker design and follow the in the footsteps of the Veritas line and IMO sound nothing like Klipsch. As a matter of fact, the only common link between the two is ownership;).

In your opinion, your biased opinion (come on, all you talk about is PSB).:p

I would be curious as to how the 2 stack up against each other in blind testing.

I'm not. I only reply to threads about Energy, simply because I have experience with them. I never go and physically push their speakers on people.

If it wasn't for my lack of funds, I would have something different.
