AV123 X-plosive subwoofer

Just got the email from Jess Quintana from AV123 regarding the new X-plosive sub that hasn't hit the market yet.

It is a 10" driver with a 12" passive radiator. They had it at the Rocky Mountain Audio Festival and it played down to 20Hz in-room, in a standard Marriott Hotel room.

They will be shipping in late January, and are currently accepting pre-orders. $299 in Satin black, $389 all other finishes.

From everything I have read about this sub. I think this is going to be an excellent budget subwoofer that will exceed most expectations. But that still remains to be seen (or heard).

If it performs as well as they say it will, I suspect this will turn out to be one heck of a deal. Hell, I don't even have to hear it to assume that it will already put my crappy JBL Sub12 to shame.

That explains the picture a bit better I suppose. Those guys didn't look Chinese.

This subwoofer is Bandpass.. port on 1 side, passive rad on the other. I doubt it will out perform the PB-10NSD.

I don't think it's meant to outperform the PB10-NSD. I still would like to see the reviews on it though. For a price tag of $299 it's at least worth a peek or two.
