I vote TX-SR875, the only thing I can find that it doesn't have that the Denon does is network connection for streaming music (usb as well). The Onkyo has THX Ultra II cert, which is pretty impressive. If scaling is not needed I suggest the Onkyo TX-SR805, which is pretty much the same basic receiver minus the scaler (TVs and Upscaling players could handle scaling pretty well).
Well Here are the other components I plan on buying for this room.
Heat wont be an issue, I'm going to build an in wall cabinet with fans
and air filters. What I'm looking for is the best possible highest detailed sound.
I wish I could test both units side by side. I have heard the Onkyo has more "Balls" True??
