Put in a "Wanted" thread?

After navigating this site for a while, paying attention to the Deals, Deals, Deals thread, and the Classifieds thread - where people can post equipment they intend to sell..

I would have to assume that there are a lot of people out there (like myself) who know what they have in mind, and might like to post a "Wanted" ad in this forum - someone who reads it that may have such equipment or gear lying around their house, and never thought about selling it may be prompted to do so, and therefore generate another resource for people both looking to upgrade to better equipment, and those who have extra stuff in their collection.

Possibly breaking the Classified section into 2 threads is a simple way to do it: A Thread for "Wanted" and a thread for "For Sale"?

Seems to cover the same ground from both ends in my opinion. Just a thought.

Go to the Classified's and put WTB in front of what you want....

The classified section is usually where "want list" requests are put. Just make sure you title the thread with "WTB" or "WANTED".

Is also doesn't hurt to ask where people have seen good deals on a certain item in the "DEALS, DEALS, DEALS"

I appreciate it. I'm still kind of learning the rules of etiquette with forums in general. I'll be looking for some new gear soon enough, so I will keep this in mind!
