Update!

I have several things to say.

WOW! That is the first one. Just WOW! This TV blows me away! My neighbor has a new Samsung 720p plasma with deeper color(he paid $1899.99), but outside of that, it is a fine picture.

Secondly, I would like to tell everyone how my online TV purchase went. Not only did I get a TV from onecall for $999.97 that BB sells for $1699.99, and CC sells for $1599.99, you just wouldn't believe the shipping quality. The TV was strapped to a pallet. Instructions, and warning labels were all over the box for the shipper. There were these things called Shock-Watch labels that looked like a little fuse in a label. They are filled with clear liquid. If the box is bumped, dropped, or anything out of the ordinary, the liquid will turn red. Not only were my Shock-Watch labels clear, the box itself looked as if it was just printed. The TV had a manufacturing date of 10/07.:D

Thirdly, TV was not made in China.:D Mexico;), but not China.

Have you noticed any signs of a slight green push?

Well, to be honest, I don't know what that is.

The only thing I have noticed is every now and then, I get a little dot of light. This seems to happen when a scene changes quickly. But, it immediately goes away.:)

The other thing, that I have corrected, is blonde headed people wearing blue or green have a blue or green tint to their hair. Is this green push? Anyway, I solved this with a day of fine tuning my preference settings.

Another thing to note. HDMI connections. This TV remembers the preference settings for each HDMI input. They are certainly different for dvd and HD tv. The point is, I have no need for a receiver with HDMI. Running everything to my receiver via HDMI would have me loose this function. Even with HD/Blu-ray, I can run the six analog connections for the new audio formats. So, the receiver stays for a while longer!:D

I have the 52LX177 and I notice that too but only in very specific conditions like when a person is next to a green light.

Rambo's black hair turned flourescent green for a second when his head was next to the green instrument panel of the helicopter. In Fantastic Four when Ben and Doom are sitting in the cafe booth next to the window with a green flourescent light around it, the sides of their faces next to the window are green.

I would expect some small amount of green shadow in those cases but I think this TV does emphasize it a bit too much. Mine was one of the first apparently because it has a build date of 8/23. I'm returning it and hoping for a later build date next time or maybe even give the Sharp a chance. The problem is so rare though that I could live with it.

The easiest way to tell if your TV suffers from severe green push is to pop in Superman Returns DVD. In the beginning scene where that old woman is dying talking to Lex Luthor the entire scene is very dark. On my old 42HL167 the grayscale in that scene was all green. The processor was entirely out of whack. If you see a ton of green during that part then you have severe push.

Just in case you may have missed my statement, or this feature in the manual, your preference settings for the picture are different for each HDMI input. I had to correct for each input(dvd/cable). I believe it has a lot to do with the room. I don't have a theater. It's all in the living/den area. I was able to correct this with B-DRIVE, G-DRIVE, and other yellow, blue, and green color corrections. I also kicked the black-level(Static Gamma) a little above 3/4.
