Best receiver between $1000 and $2000??

I recently bought B&O speakers.
I need a good receiver for my home theater.
Would you recommend any??

I second the 1800 or go with seperates.

I havent seen a B&O speaker in a long time, are the efficient?

What is the application?
Stereo? HT? How many channels?

What is the efficiency and impedance of the B&O speakers?

I think that a lot of the receivers in the $1-2k price range have similar audio features and performance. Once you get above $1k, they start to add more video features, better upscaling chips, and networking.

I just took a look at the B&O's...still space age looking stuff...Reminds me of the rich couple on "Christmas Vacation".

Or he could always add an Emotiva MPS-1/2 into the mix with just 2 amp modules at first and add to it if he needed to. It would still be under $2000 with the ability to expand.
