Vivendi is buying Activision, which will make them the world's largest video game maker, surpassing EA.

The combined company will have about $3.8 billion in sales this year on a pro-forma basis, surpassing EA.

I guess I just like that EA was knocked off their perch, for the time being.

Hey, I LOVE sports games, particularly NFL and MLB games. But the half-assed, glitch-infestested releases by 2K and EA the last few years have REALLY soured me on those companies.

It's like they are not even trying anymore.
