I understand that he stated his budget was up to $1.5K. Other then the fact that he stated he wants dts ture-hd, I can see no reason to spend that much for those speakers on his electronics. JMO

iam just very picky about my sound,
and if i cant offered to spend crazy money on a superb nice pre/amp
then maybe i shouldn't be so picky but iam so haha...

i think iam leaning mainly for music
i want to the detail in every instrument
i want an amazing sound stage.
i want to listen to some classical with cello or a violins
and feel like they are right in front of me

but, i do want to blast movies and also have a great sound..

what do you think about lexicon mc-12?

iam also a little worried about not having hd-dvd dts
i dont know.

it would be very sweet to get to take home and try a few pre amps
out for a few days.
