PureAV Power - Phase 1-6

One of the differences between the models in PureAV's line of power conditioners is something they call "Multi-Phase PureFilter Technology".

The entry-level models are rated phase 1 while the higher-end units are rated phase 6. This is some scale of electronic filtering.

I haven't been able to find out what the heck is the difference between the different levels. Is this just marketing speak or is there such a thing as these different levels of filtering? For example, they rate their PF40 as having phase 4 filtering technology while their PF60 is phase 6, which I assume is better. But what is the difference between phase 4 and phase 6? They don't explain. I want to get one them, but I can't quite figure out the actual benefits of going from phase 4 to phase 6.

Anybody know about this scale of electronic filtering ability?

Not sure myself. Have you called them yet? Maybe they will try to explain or gloss over it:D Maybe they have measurements they are willing to show differences?

There is no difference. Just plug them in and hope it stops a surge.
