My last Crown Vic lasted 225,000 miles and was healthy until a retard in a van wrecked into me.

You aren't going to get anywhere on doubting reliability of ford 80's/90's v8s. I personally know many people who are logging 300k out of original 302s and 4-500k from 4.6s

I never thought of an H22 to be lame, heavy yeah, I'll give you that.
It's all about the K series. K20A2 head, K24 block.

That's the CR-V 4 banger block and RSX Type S head right? Hey man don't misjudge me I like imports, I am a big guy I need a big car to drive everyday and feel comfortable, that's all. I like imports for fun and whatnot. I am not against Japanese cars, but I kinda am partial to european turbo cars I have an '89 Volvo 760 Turbo Intercooler with the B230ft which are pretty bulletproof.

Old CRV = B20. You can only swap other B series heads on there. B16, B18C, B18C1. B16 has the best flow.

I think the new CRV has the K24. CRVTEC swap.

The strongest bottom end is the B18B, Integra LS. LSVTEC swaps are common, and LSVTEC + Boost = pure pwnage.

I've seen lots of Volvo turbos tare up the track here. I have a big time love for they're sleeperness.

Is that made by Kia like the Kia in the US??? I'd give an arm for a truck like that it wreaks cool.
yup, same kia. these things are basically the ford f-series of korea. they come in a million different variations and i'd so 50-60% of the vehicles on the road are bongo's or hyundai's equivalent "porter". 55-60km/gallon and the thing never dies. can't beat the 12" dualies either haha.

2007 Acura TL Type S. There's some pretty nifty technology in this car, but the sound system is junk! They marketed it as the ELS 5.1 Dolby Surround system with 8 speakers and supports DTS and DVD-Audio. However, the speakers sound cheap and thin....there's no discernable difference between the SQ when listening to DVD-A, CD and MP3. However, I love how in the acura forums, people are raving about DVD-A 5.1CH sound quality being more clear than CD. I'm thinking.. um.....yeah..right.

This is a fun little car, although it doesn't have too much power (stick shift seems to compensate a bit though). For the price I paid to get it fully loaded, I'm entirely satisfied with it :)

Hey Lightning Steve, looks like you have done a thing or two to the L. I got a True Blue but have not done to much to it. Did the Filter, Hotchkis suspension and Bassanii exhaust. Does alright at the track 13.44@103. Not as much fun as my Cobra is though. I use the L to pull my boat so it doesnt get driven much. Fun truck.

Maybe, didn't read them all:D But, my old diesel gets about 38-42 in the city and closer to 50 on the highway at around 55-60.
No wonder I have a hard time upgrading ;)

2003 VW Golf GL TDI 2-door
indigo blue, tinted windows (30%), ventectomy, CCV mod, PP520's, Eibach Pro suspension kit

capable of over 60mpg, never really pushed it. Have done over 1000miles on a tank.

(does that raise the average MPG of the thread a bit?)

I get over 30mpg.

SheepStar
My SS Impala (300 hp, changed the chip) gets 21-23 around town and 30 highway. Its a 13 second street car.

My wife has a 02 Saturn Wagon, 4 cylinder (no power), and probably gets the same, maybe less mpg's then the Impala.

Down side = Since the Impala is Supercharged it burns Premium:eek:
