Hi Guys:
Anyone has this remote? Is this a good remote. I want to consolidate all my remotes into one.

Any feedback will be very appreciated.

Thanks.

It's a great remote and simple to use. It can be found for around $100 I believe.

Do a search here for Harmony 880 and you'll find more user feedback on it.

The lowest I've seen it retailing for is around $140-145.

I just got a new one because my old one was wearing out. IMO they don't last as long as they could, reliability is a bit flaky, but they're the best thing around for the money and some people seem to have better luck than I have with their reliability. In spite of that, as you can see I still bought another.

Your right about the price, I think I saw an old sale posted over on AVS where someone was letting them go for $100.

Anyone have a link :D

The Harmony 880 is a great remote. Very high on the WAF as well.

I placed the order thru a friend that works for Logitech, and with the employee discount the total cost will be $121.20 including tax and free shipping to California.

Nothing against the 880; I've only heard good things about it (assuming you like the form factor, I personally don't). If you want a really good deal on a solid universal, Tiger Direct is selling the Harmony 550 for $60 after rebates trough Thursday. I'm pretty sure I'll pick one up for myself. The 550 only has four soft buttons and isn't rechargeable, but the rest of its functionality is very similar.

The 880 works well, but I'll also say that it's reliability leaves a bit to be desired. Mine will just up and reboot itself every once in a while. And just last night, it did that three times and just locked up. I had to keep taking the battery out and replacing it. It finally rebooted all the way after the 3rd time.

I've got one, it is a very good remote.
Very easy to work with, just no where near as customizable as the Pronto I had.

LOL, looking for feedback - check the 3,000+ posts (113 pages) on it over at AVS. I've got about 20 posts on it here - http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=654853
If you get it, and need advice, that is the quickest thread for advice.
But it is so easy to work with, I'm sure you won't need to post on it.;)

In all honesty I personally like the 659 the best out of the entire line.

I have three Harmony remotes. All excellent. The 880 is my favorite because of the rechargeable battery, 8 activities displayed at once on the screen and the large buttons. The 550 is my second favorite. It has very small buttons, replaceable batteries, only six activities. The 659 is my leas favorite. It has widely spaced buttons that are easy to use but is less intuitive to use for me than the other two.

I love my 880. Got it for around $150, and has been great since the day I set it up. I've since added my bedroom set up to it and now only need one remote for my entire apartment. It's the best HT investment I've made. You wont regret it.
