Not bad...... In fact, this was a pretty decent thriller and one of the better Kostner movies I've seen in the past several years.

I thought it was good: 3 1/2 stars

I had really, really low expectations for this movie......and it was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't say it's the type of movie that can anchor a movie night, but it's definitely worthy of "Night Capper" status to bring a movie night to a close.

I saw this recently and thought it was very good, I'm not a Dane Cook fan, but I think he did pretty good. The ending was good, and I hear this could end up being a trilogy. I also thought it had a pretty good ending... If this does end up being a trilogy, it will be intersting to see what becomes of his daughter!

Mmmm, his daughter. If they do continue to make more they need to keep the same cast.

I thought the movie was great. William Hurt had the best part. I love instigators.

Mr. Brooks is one creepy MF. Kevin Costner has never been more than a midrange actor for my taste, but I thought that was his best in a long time. Additionally, Dane Smith almost stole the show. His initial geekiness and emerging evil was very convincing. Even though the ending was not a surprise, I thought that the overall effect of the movie was quite good.

I love this movie too. Too bad the Blu-ray did not get a very good review in terms of Picture and Sound.

Another thing about this movie that was fantastic were the gunshots. That little piece of sound engineering ought to get an award. I watched this in the middle of the day so the sub was on and the dynamic range compression was off. Even my 14 year old kid was impressed and he's pretty much of the opinion that all those speakers are a waste and subs only belong in cars.
