Giving SVS PCI 20-39 for Christmas

I am surprising my eldest son by giving him a SVS 20-39 for Christmas. I ordered it yesterday and much to my surprise it shipped today. I thought the company might have a backlog so I ordered early. Since my son does not have Manx at his house the 'scratching post' seemed to provide the best value.

It will be interesting to compare with my Outlaw.

I purchased my son a SVS PB10-ISD a couple of years ago. Great minds think alike. But you did it right. I purchased his sub before I purchased my own SVS.

He has Infinity Reference 6000.6 towers ( My speakers before the Kappas. Fifteen years old but still going strong). Also an Infinity C250 center channel and , I think the surrounds are inexpensive Cerwin Vega (that will be for another day). Still, not bad overall for a young man that purchased his first house in the overpriced market caused by the investment bank's greed.

I thought about doing that too. But my kid went out and bought a system without consulting me. He ended up with those Fluance/Nuance, not the good ones, the crappy ones. Anyway, he sems to be happy with the subs built into the towers like the DefTechs.

I got him a PS3 instead.
