Audioholics bias towards HD DVD?

Yes, I do own both, but I still want the prices of the movies to come down, as well as be able to have more of a selection at the blockbuster stores. As of right now they have about 1 shelf worth of Bluray discs, and no HD DVD in store, I would like to see the whole store be HD DVD and/or Bluray.

Would be nice, & I'm all for it. But we're talking about maybe a few more years or more.:D

Of course not...you are one who uses 'loose' when you mean 'lose'. At least two members here often type 'quiet' when they mean 'quite'.

I don't understand how many people think it is cool to be illiterate (allowing for the occasional typo of course).
And how exactly do you know what is deliberate and what is a Typo? Oh right, your higher powers. Generally, people make the same typo more then once. I always screw up "the" and type "hte". Not trying to be hip, just the way I type. If you look at your examples, only 1 letter is out.

I'm sure it's not only me who's noticed the obvious push for HD DVD here. The articles sound more like a fanboy rant than good journalism.
With a handle like "bluesmoke", you expect us to believe that your complaint here is not just a Blu-boy fanboy rant?? Sorry if this forum is not bised to Bluray like Bluray.com.... get over it.

I own a PS3 and A30 player. I see the benefits and weaknesses of both formats. There are plenty of good news surrounding both Blu-ray and HD DVD - yet it seems there's an agenda on this site by the staff to promote all the positives of HD DVD, and blast Blu-ray in the process.
Again - deal with it. BTW - what is all the good news about Blurray you mention?? Is it all the new profiles they have thought up, like BD 1.0, 1.05, 1.1, 1.2, 2.0 and 2.1??

Tom Andry talks about the "spanking" that Blu-ray received. Where is the mention of the spanking HD DVD has received all year in movie sales? Where is the news about the Spiderman 3 disc outselling Transformers on HD DVD last week? I don't see this balance
Feel free - knock yourself out.

Please try to remember that the format war is not over and that there are new people entering it daily.
Yes, do keep that in mind...

A site as influencial as audioholics should heed with caution in how it handles the new formats. If Audioholics has an obvious bias towards HD DVD, they should let it be known publically, as Bill Hunt of Digital Bits has done on his site concerning Blu-ray. That way, it puts the articles in perspective for the reader.
audioholics is not biased - Bill Hunt is...

wal-mart, best buy, circuit city, any other local video stores, online... plenty of other places. Or you can jump on the HD bandwagon and see what you have been missing out on all this time.
