well I am cheap, but I actually bought my first sub off Ebay, but I used feebizmag a long time ago for a free sub to something else, and since the industries don't match, I guess they won't allow me to get that mag for some reason. But I doubt that link will still be active in another year, but you can always search for another free sub to it, maybe you will get lucky. I've got some other subs to magazines that I got for free and have them coming for a very long time.

I tried to get more information from DT once: I asked them for more detail info like the +/- 6dB & +/-10dB on-axis, & off-axis response, etc., but they said they didn't have them available. They only gave me the +/-3dB. I was kind of disappointed. Are they not suppose to test & know everything? They probably thought I was being a jerk.

Did you do your Blu-ray "certification" thing to get your free blu-ray movie?
Out of 20 questions at the end, I missed one. And this is without even listening at all. Free is good.

Oh yes, I'm all about freebies, I check freebie websites everyday and am always getting stuff in the mail, sometimes it feels like Christmas is year round.

Of course I did the Bluray certification, I was the first one to post in that thread... I can't wait till my free HD DVD and Bluray discs start coming in. But in the meantime, Blockbuster online rents HD DVD and Bluray, and I can exchange my movies instore for regular dvd or bluray since thats all they have in their B&M stores. I only missed one question too, but I did listen to the courses just because...

The only bad thing about those free HD DVD & BD movies is that it takes forever to get them! I think it took 4 months before I got my HD DVD movies & probably 3 months before I got my BDs. But free is good.

I guess I just feel pretty strongly about DefTech. Great experience with them. I like NHTs too because I've had very good experience with NHT.
There are just way too many speaker companies. If someone were to ask for suggestions, there would be hundreds. I love my speakers, and it shows.

Yeah, that really sucks, but like you said, it's free, so I can't complain too much.
