You should either buy or skim thru this month's copy of Sound & Vision Magazine. There's an article in there I'm sure you'll find to your liking. :p

What blew me away is the amount of compute power it takes to make that happen. That sub is wicked by the way. I wonder if SVS or HSU has anything that can touch its capabilities. I also wonder if its for sale or if was only one of as in special order.

The sub is available to the public, but be sure to check with your home owners insurance first to see if using it in your home will void your policy...

SuperCube® Trinity Signature

The new SuperCube® Trinity Signature is a very special over-the-top powered subwoofer which was originally developed for the state-of-the-art electronic organ at Trinity Church in New York (which uses a huge multiple array of Definitive bipolar towers - one for each organ pipe).

It delivers outstanding low frequency performance which heretofor has not been available in such a compact enclosure. In fact, it was designed to replace 5'x5'x8'' boxes which had previously been used in organs of this type.

Capable of prodigious output (in excess of 128 db at 20 Hz and 116 db at 16 Hz in a normal room) the Signature is also quick and highly detailed. It may be used vertically or positioned on its back when custom installations call for it.

Dimensions:18" W x 18" D x 31-3/4" H
Frequency Response: 10 Hz — 200Hz
Driver Complement: Two 14" long-throw SuperCube Technology subwoofers coupled to four 14" infrasonic radiators
Built-in Amplifier: 2000 watts Digitally-Coupled Class D Amplifier
Low Pass Crossover: 24 dB/octave continuously adjustable variable (40 —150 Hz) plus Unfiltered LFE direct coupled input
High Pass Crossover: 12dB/octave continuously variable (40 — 150hz)
Speaker level: 6 dB octave (80 Hz)
Finish: Piano gloss black
Weight: 175 lbs.
Suggested Retail: $2999 ea.

I saw the article on their web site.
They didn't show any actual pictures of the installation.
Were there any in the magazine?

I know I sure would, I have a Def Tech system that I love, but I would really love to hear what they have going on in there, 6 Trinity subs  :D

Makes me almost want to return my Velo DD-15 and go get that sub! God that thing is a beauty at a reasonable price.

Yeah, it's quite large, but it's not as tall as my SVS which is only 16" in diameter, so it is a little bit bigger around... I'm sure it would outperform the Plus series, but I bet the new Ultra, or even the old Ultra/2 would give it a good run for the money.

Yeah, GlocksRocks has mentioned that to me.:)

I still have not actually read the magazine yet. I guess I have to buy it first.:D

So are you guys trying to tell me I need to spend $2,000 on this SuperCube Trinity monster?:D

Oh, I'm sorry, did you mean this?

A real pipe organ doesn't need a sub. Just a really long pipe for that 10 Hz note.

That's it! I'm getting the Trinity.:D

I'm sure the BP10Bs, BP30s, & SM450s are outstanding, but I was wondering why they did not just use 76 BP7000SCs + 6 Trinity Subs? I mean MSRP would be just $208,000. I'm sure DT would give them 50% off.:D

I have asked my wife a million times why I would ever want to visit New York.
Now I have a reason.:)

I looked for that article online so I could link you to it, but I couldn't find it. I guess you are a better searcher that I. But there are more pics in the magazine, so it's worth at least checking out at the local bookstore.

That is one bad thing about OKC. None of the Walden Books or Borders Book stores I know of have Sound & Vision Magazine! Wal-Mart does not either.:(

I think it's time to get a subscription, you can even save a few dollars by getting it on ebay.

even better, my sub only has a few more months on it, so that should do quite nicely... I had to create a new acct. with freebizmag in order to get this... I don't know why it wouldn't let me use my other one, but who cares!
So you mean in 12 months, I could just creat a whole new account and get another year subscription free? Awesome.
Man, we are cheap.:D
