I can't keep up with the deals they have going on.. Two weeks ago they were offering any HD DVD player with the two included movies + two in store picks, plus the 5 free via mail. I went last sunday and that deal had ended, but now they were offering it for blu ray titles. Is this week back to HD DVD? If so, I'm going back to get two freebies

Holy hell.. So this week I'm getting refunded 100 bucks for their price drop and 3 additional DVD's. Now, if B&W would start offering free 800 series speakers with purchase of their 600 series (which I just bought)....

A 3rd gen player with ten (yes 10 hd movies that retail for $20-$25 per) for $200? You know the saying, if you gotta ask...

I took the dip and got the A3 with ten movies (after swearing I wouldn't feed into the frenzy until the war is over, but neither my 5803 or projector has hdmi. Oh well, off to do more shopping (I'm thinking the Onkyo 805 when it approaches $600 and a 50" 1080i plasma when they approach 1k). How can one ask such a question when 10 hd movies are included...that makes the hd/sd upscaling player free! Hmmph.

I think i'm just stuck on choices. I can choose another X360 or a PS3 + another item. Right now because of the 10 freebies PS3 + A3 seems to be the best bet as i will have both HD formats and i will still have a game system. I would have a total of 6 free blu rays and 10 free HD DVDs.

I'm also currently hangin' out in Vietnam with my wife and not really able to get to a BB ehheh. I'll have to try and contact my bro and see if he can pick me up an A3, ASAP. I wont be back stateside for another week. So this is preventing me from pulling the trigger... if i can't get ahold of my bro i will just have to order online. Okay, thats enough talkin' outta me. I'm on vacation .

I went back to BB tonight and got The Departed for free. So for those of you that got the A3 on fri or sat and only got 2 movies you can go back and get your third one.

Chill NeverSeen. The sale was advertised as a two day sale. We are long past that time. And then you tried to scam them on a reproduced coupon (I think that is explicitly forbidden...no copies, originals only).

A similar sale will come back before the holidays...trust me.

Well, the sale was going on, online, when i submitted my order, then it was canceled and the price changed on the website... Why shouldn't i be upset?

Also, the coupon says on it "print and bring to store." you can get this coupon at any local post office. They all have them. Great idea to check for coupons around local businesses as they can save you tons of money. Don't go calling people scammers... thats not very nice. Especially when you just "think" you know what your talking about.

I'm sure a simular sale will come along, but this got me all hopped up and excited i would have a new HD DVD player ready and waiting for me when i get back to the States and now... i get to wait. At least they didn't charge me and tie up money in the bank. I'll give them that much.

Anywho, i'll be off to Ccity for my next purchase. No better way to stick it to Best Buy than not buy from them.

Yep! I went last night to return my A-2 (bought the open box model off the shelf for $229). The manager said the sale had ended but he honored the price for me anyway.

He said the special was in response to Wal-Mart pricing and it was a "market thing".

What a great deal while it lasted.
