I am looking to replace my current denon 3802 to a receiver that takes advantage of my new toshiba hd-a35 dvd player.
any suggestions for a receiver around a $1000 any ideas welcomed.
p.s. My denon 3802 is a fine receiver but many say i can get much more from a newer receiver. john

What features of the A35 you want the receiver to do? I ask because the A35 should convert the DD TrueHD to 5.1 analog and your receiver can play that and the video can go to the TV with HDMI, no new receiver needed.
