I am playing around on the BB site right now looking through movies (this has my finger on the trigger) and now it is claiming 8 free (3 instant, 5 rebate) plus 2 in the box. 10 HD DVDs ~$250 value free with this $200 player. I'm almost a fool not to do it.
What's keeping me from pulling the trigger:
I got a $400 gift card from Ccity when my 360 broke. I want to replace the 360 with a PS3 so i can have gaming and blu ray in one instead of getting a new 360 with HD DVD add on. I wasn't going to bother with HD DVD. Now, this deal comes along and its a WAY better deal than the add on for the 360.
So do i buy this player, and a PS3 with the GC and have both formats + a game system, and buy disks for both, and eventually just stop buying new disks once one format wins, or do i buy this player and another 360 and hope HD DVD wins or ARGH! i just don't know what to do. I'm not a gamer and i pretty much only buy gaming systems to entertain guests and the vast amount of kids in my extended family. I also have a Wii and an upconverting SD player.
Next thing you know i will hook everything up and find out i dont have any more inputs in my Onkyo 702. *sigh*

Yeah, $215 for A3 w/ 2 movies in box, and 3 additional. The nearest location with a player is about 1 hour away. It also says while supplies last on the 2 free so that makes me not want to order it off the internet. Of course if i really wanted i could return it in store. but even the 3 dvd's is a very good deal... *sigh* if this is the deal 2 months before christmas... what will it be in the coming weeks???
