Heh

I don't have the money for such speakers.:(
currently I don't have any money for any speaker. All kidding aside I read that review the other day and chuckled that the reviewer had difficulity finding any faults with PSB's new flagship speakers. I am familiar with PSB's cheaper offering and can't imagine what these would sound like in my new home.

I'm really curious as to how these sound. PSB has a certain "flat" sound to it. I think they are very neutral speakers.

Which I guess is why the last three times in the past 10 years that I have demo'd them against Mirage and Paradigm I have always come away impressed by the PSB.

I just demo'd the Image T55's against the Paradigm Monitor 9 with my business partner for his home theater. I dunno, the PSB just sound more uniform and better in the mid and upper range. The new Paradigm stuff looks a little too bling.

I have always found the PSB to be a bit on the dark side of neutral meaning a bit warmer, if that makes sense. They are more laid back but a VERY pleasing sound. I still own a pair ;)

Thats how I hear them as well. The details are there but instead of offering the treble outright, they invite one to sit and listen.

Yeah I have to say that a set of PSB's was pretty nice sounding to me, and although I opted for the Paradigm Studio Lineup... there are times that I have to taper highs on the tweeters back a bit on my system...

As much as I hate to say that...
