Hello everyone new to this site, I just installed my projector and i'm having problems with the HDMI input, i can't seem to get a steady picture it keeps flickering on and off although on the S-video i have no problems. If you have any suggestions please let me know, don't have enough smarts on how the projector works still an amateur, your help is appreciated. Thanks Mary

How long is your HDMI cable and what brand are you using? Where is the signal coming from to the projector?

This projector has issues with HDCP interoperability that can cause intermittent problems with an image and/or sound flickering on and off. In particular I noticed image "blackout" issues with a cable box HD-DVR (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD) and audio dropouts with a DVD player (Denon DVD-3930CI). I just completed my review and noticed these significant issues that never occured with any other projector to-date (save the PT-AX100U).

Panasonic definitely needs to do more interoperability testing.

Hi Clint - Marymoya's question was about the ax100u... are you saying you saw the same problem with the ax200u?

I'm curious because I suspect your comment about finishing your review was directed at the ax200u. Hopefully this issue has been addressed. (My hope is that the issue is s sub-par HDMI cable and not the pj, in the case of the original questioner.)
