As you may have read, my brother recently moved out (thought he's only's a few blocks away). When he left, I took his bedroom (which was smaller, but nicer then my current bedroom/HT room at the time).

I've now fully moved into his room, and my other room was just my stereo and empty desks and dressers. So today I began moving all of my empty stuff out, and turning the room dedicated. After getting through some setbacks (my aunts car decided to barf all it's oil on the road) I finished moving everything out I could. All that is left that isn't HT related it my bed, but it's not really in the way.

So, I give your SheepStar's lair; dedicated.

Nice, Sheep. It's a bit cleaner looking than your old setup.

Yeah, it's the same room, but all the speaker boxes are behind the couch out of sight, and the dresser and desk are gone. Once the bed is out, it will be realy to seat 10 people.

Nice room. I like the pooch.
Agreed, I have a soft spot for pugs in my heart cause of a friends old dog :). Nice room, what are you planning for the next upgrade or are you just focused on the car now?

Congrats on the dedicated room, I am jealous!

so that's the same room, except you are moving the non-HT stuff into your brother's room?

nothing beats a dedicated room!

Nice little setup you've got there. Now you can invite the 'rents down for movie night.

It's going to be the family HT. I'll have to put up instructions on how to use it..

The pug is useless.. doesn't move from that spot.

Next upgrade is buying my Macromounts for my Energy C-50s. Then I will be running Energy all round. They take forever to get there and cost 90 bucks. I've been waiting to order them... probably do it today.

Yeah, this is what the room USED to look like.

As you can see, it is much neater and open.

I can't recall. I haven't used the system in a while, then the room was unused for about a week. It does sound good though.. was listening to Tool last night and I really liked what I was hearing. I moved the sub up front again, had to up the volume. It was too tactile and localizable in the rear corner. I can't wait to get my surrounds up and have everything matching. It will look better too with smaller rears.

Update: Rears are finally wall-mounted

Hello,

I would have posted this the other day when I did it, but I was banned. I haven't really had a good chance to listen to them. I threw on Batman Begins earlier, but it doesn't seem to have much in the way of surrounds for me...

Anywho, pictures.

Vast improvement. Good going. In the first picture, are those the Presence speakers not yet mounted or the side surrounds before you moved them?

The pug is useless.. doesn't move from that spot.
LOL. Too funny.

Those speakers are now my rears. I needed the Energy wall mount for them (no key-slot mount). Before I had the mount I just put them on my mains.

Clint,

It is alot better. I still have some stuff that I need to move out, but the layout in general versus the old setup is 10 times better.

Okay, I'm trying to upload a video tour of my stereo.. but it's too large for Youtube, and facebook can't embed.

Does anyone have a good compressor that can reduce the size a little?

Thanks

When you gonna get a bigger screem? It's tiny, dude for all that seating I'd go blind trying to see your TV! :D

Everything else is cool though.
