The Philharmagic 3D theater is located in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom at DisneyWorld (Florida).
The show is about 20 minutes long and is produced and presented using state of the art A/V technologies on a 24' x 150' screen in 3D. (glasses provided at he door).
Aside from the technical tour de force, the show is actually very entertaining.
The 3D effects and renderings are astonishingly well done, and the quality of the sound reproduction and steering is stunning. (the sound "tracks" the characters in 3D space very convincingly)
The deep bass is the most forceful and realistic I have ever experienced.
One scene depicting the marching brooms from Fantasia was almost frightening in terms of the sheer solidity, depth and dynamic scale of the "broom-stomps".
The low frequency thuds of the biggest broom literally felt like a huge sledgehammer hitting the floor of the theater.
This is definitely a must-see for AV fanatics.
My wife and I saw the show at least 5 or 6 times while we were there.
