Swiffer duster with extendable handle

I have found this product to be perfect for cleaning my AV gear. It is thin enough to get under every piece of equipment I own. And, no cleaning necessary. Just throw out the old cleaning pad, and install a new one. I love it. There are two models. I recommend the starter kit with the extendable handle.

I think we should start a whole new area for this type of things...

Cannot get a good idea from the picture but can I guess safely that the handle and cleaning material will be thin enough for under components? Will it reach to the back, 16"-19" ?

I have an ostrich feather duster that hangs right next to my av rack. It takes just a minute to dust all the gear off. I find it hard to believe that a swiffer will go underneath a piece of av gear!

I just measured for you. It will go 9". I get the back from the sides. I guess it depends on your rack system. 15mm-9/16in is the thinnest piece of equipment it will go under.

Since manhood was questioned here, I think a manlaw should be implemented stating that cleaning of AV gear is NOT a domestic chore, and should be heretofore know as AV maintainence cleaning.
Kind of like washing your car, or cleaning your golf clubs........
Now if you have a wife that cleans your clubs, av gear, and waxes your cars, then I must bow to your massive show of Testosterone.......:)

It's good to know I’m not alone and I can finally come out of the closet.

My name is Adrian Mills and I'm a swiffer user.

I am a huge fan of simple and incredibly useful products. I too am a swiffer user and proud of it. Not only is the swiffer duster practically ideal for dusting everything, including the computers and AV equipment, but the normal swiffer 'broom' type thing is super freakin' easy for sweeping the wood floors and the vinyl tile in my bathrooms. You can even spray cleaning solution on it and use it wet - that is just as effective as the Swiffer WetJet that I trashed.

Been using the Swiffer for the last 4 to 5 years on my A/V rack. Its a great piece of work and really helps keep my system looking all "spiffy"

I'm also 2nding davidtwotrees motion that it is not housecleaning but simply a A/V maintenance "tune-up" :D

"what Dear? Its time for my cleaning? "

Well guys, I gotta jet!!

"Can I be on top this time Dear??" :D:D::eek::D
