Greg got himself that Emotiva with 3 200wpc cards expandable to 7... for $900.00 Great start... IMO...
You can also check out Audiogon.com and do a search with the first 2 or 3 digits of your zipcode to see what comes up in your area... Thats how I found my Rotel RMB-1095 Amp for an awesome deal...

. I just feel that big itch to try this and that with the new set, and mainly the results are not disappointing (like I said the clearer the sound the better the result). Got Tchaikovski - 1812 with those cannons played - woooow! Now switched to 7ch King Crimson - 69 in DTS - amazing too... What an adventure this is...
