A New World Record is one album we played to death when I was a teen, along with Kansas Leftoverture. Ace Frehley (Kiss) actually covered Do Ya and did a damn fine job of it.

Since picking up the Out of the Blue CD set, I've been playing it like crazy.
Perfect head phone music for a boring day in front of the work computer.

I wish their older disks like ELO2 had better sound quality.

I saw them on the Time tour. Talk about putting on a show! The flying saucer that became a stage, the robot giving the introduction, 3D laser patterns everywhere. It is hard to find that kind of spectacle these days (outside of Vegas.) The music was great, too.

Time is one of, if not my favorite ELO album. One I'd love to hear in surround.
