This Unit Has The Ability To Run 2 Powered Subwoofers Right?

based on the pic, only the "R" has the label sub out mono ... so while you may be able to get your subwoofer running out of the "L" output, I'm not sure if it's a summed output or just the "left" low end.

you will have to ask harman kardon or if someone here is familiar with the unit.

I Was Hoping That It Was Uniform To The Other Inputs

In Having A Title Below And A Left And Right Channel
If That Was Not The Case Wouldn't There Only Be One Black/sub Pre-out
Like Most Other Receivers I've Ever Dealt With?

have you emailed HK?

because I have the 3480 and there's no way I can find out if the signal coming out of both L and R is the same without some kind of measuring software and mic.

IMO that's 2 outs. Color coded and everything. I've been eyeballin' those for a while but never knew it could do 2 subs. Mmm...Mmm...Mmm. That is sexy.

They are both subwoofer outs, they are both mono mixes of stereo input (the same exact signal will come from each terminal).

Saweet!!!
This Thing Is On Its Way To My Living Room.
You Guys Kick Arse, Thanks Again For All Of The Help.
I Am A Horribly Indecisive, And An Over Thinker.

Now How About A Hijack To My Own Thread?

For Some Subs To Suit Those Out Puts....any Suggestions?
General Rock And Ska....fronts Are Cerwin Ls-15 Loudspeakers,
I Want The Subs To Just Supplie The Nice Low Down Punch When Listening At A Low- To Spirited Level.

The Cv's Actually Boom Pretty Well Already,
But Only When Cranked.
Plus The Deco In My House Only Consists Of Tile, Leather, Steel, And Glass. No Carpet, Curtains Or Pillows:(
So You Can Probly Imagine Why I'm Looking For 2 Additional; Subs
Discuss?

Budget? You much of a DIYer. I would get two 15" subwoofer kits from Parts Express. This kit is easy enough for even the most novice DIYer, you put the woofer and the amp in the box and make sure the red wire is attached to the positive terminal on the woofer and the ground to the negative terminal, pretty simple and cost effective. You could start with one and if you decide you need another you just order another one.:)

That is the best solution I can think of at the moment.

I would expect both those outputs are summed mono. This is the way it's done on most units with dual outputs. KISS

I WISH.....MORE LIKE "THE BUG":D

SO YOU THINK I'M HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON THE STEREO SET-UP.
AND NOT A BAD TEMPORARY SET-UP ON THE HT SUBS?
