Blue Man Group and DVD-A or SACD

OK I have two unrelated questions...instead of two threads...

#1 - Blue Man Group is coming to my city. I am a Director of Student Life at a church locally and I'm thinking about taking our students. Any of you guys ever been to a BMG concert or heard a recording? Do you think it would be appropriate for teenagers?

#2 - I love rock music. Especially grunge, heavy metal, and other hard rock groups. Even the classics, DMB, AC/DC, etc. Can you guys recommend a couple of good DVD-Audio or SACDs that I can try out? I'll be using a PS3 for playback, I *think* it plays both formats.

The PS3 does not do DVD-A although it will do a great job with SACDs.

In the catagories you are looking for I don't know too many SACDs although if you are a Pink Floyd fan there is Dark Side of the Moon :).

Not a HUGE Pink Floyd fan, but I'd be willing to give it a try for a submersive audio experience. So the PS3 doesn't do DVD-Audio?

Yes x 2, but I'm biased. :D All BMG shows are appropriate for teenagers. Enjoy.

Actually, Pentecostal ;)

You'd find that my church is very different. We do things without regard to what's always been done. But we don't take that point to an extreme either. It's a fine balance :)

What's even funnier is that 80% of the students are African-American and I am taking them to a ROCK concert! They'll hate it. But I'll like it! :D

I have a standard DVD from them (The Complex.) It is a very clean, family-freindly show. I expect that they are extremely loud live, so take earplugs.
