Can the cheap Monoprice HDMI cables pass 1080p24?

Just wondering if I should order a few. I am sending 1080p24 from my PS3 to the projector, but this cable is too short (3ft) and I have to basically move my PS3 right beside the receiver. I wanted to get a few of monoprice 6ft 28AWG hdmi cables. But I need to know if they can pass a true 1080p signal with PCM audio to my receiver for DVD and Blu-ray.

With that short a cable run the Monoprice HDMI cable won't have a problem. If you are still a little wary of using the Monoprice ones you can get a bluejeanscables one and they guarantee theres up to 50 feet I believe.

It shouldn't be a problem for any HDMI cable for a 6ft run.

Yeah, 6' will pose no challenge for any HDMI cable. The funny part is, the monoprice cables have had less problems than most all others out there. There have been some HDMI handshaking issues w/ the new Onkyo's and the only ones who haven't been affected are those using monoprice. I am currently using 45' BJC's with no problems.

To set your mind at ease, why not buy monoprice 6ft and 24ga HDMI cable; less than $20.:D

I don't like cable with that stupid techflex crap. It's completely useless IMO and makes the cable stiff. I'd like to stay 28 or 26AWG as long as it doesn't affect the signal.

On another note, would 22AWG or 24AWG be recommended for passing a 1080p24 signal to a projector? Let's say the 25ft cable. Monoprice has the 24 for $35 and the 22 for $42. If there's no difference, I'd rather get the cheaper one that's more flexible around corners. Any advice?
