AcuDefTechGuy Audioholic Jedi Sep 15, 2007 #3 What else do you have besides the xbox?? Receiver? 5.1 or 7.1? Speakers? What kind of TV? You connect the HDMI from the xbox to the receiver then HDMI output of the receiver to the TV.

GlocksRock Audioholic Spartan Sep 15, 2007 #5 If you don't have HDMI on your 360 or receiver, then you will have to use an optical digital cable to connect your 360 to your receiver, that is the only way to get true surround sound out of the 360.
