Is it a lack of dealers

Those look nice; too bad is so dang hard to find them in my area. I tried my hardest to audition the Image series but had no luck.
or just the dealers you have don't stock them? Have you tried contacting PSB to see if there are any new dealers near your location?

I dont care now but back when I was auditioning I tried eveything. PSP gave me 2 dealer's names in my area but neither of them had the PSPs in-stock and would only order them if I paid for them....no thanks...

Seriously, I have no life.
called synchrony which is slotted very close in price to their premium platinum series of speakers. They look gorgeous. http://www.psbspeakers.com/series/16
Someone should fire off an email to them about their specs.
It seems that their speakers are 4 Ohms, yet they claims 1W(2.83V), etc.
Well, if they use 2.83V for sensitivity, that is 2W signal on a 4 Ohm speaker.:D

The specs also claim 4 Ohm nominal and 4 Ohm minimum. Is that even possible? There are many 8 Ohm nominal speakers that dip to 2-3 Ohms minimum so that must be a typo.

They look great and I'd bet they sound good, but 4 Ohm nominal is tough for a typical receiver.

Yep, they would be a tough load to drive

My poor Panny would be breaking out in a sweat if connected the PSBs to it. :D

Oh, yes, PSBs builds very good speakers. Tom Nousaine has one that was measured at NRC chambers with .5dB linearity for a good part of the spectrum. :D But, they do need a very good amp, especially if they have the spec-ed sensitivity with 2W. Better get at least a 200W capable into 4 Ohms if not more.:D

I frequent a local PSB dealer for other reasons and haven't seen them hooked up for almost a year. That's not to say they haven't been, just odd.

The dealer carries Magnepan, Triangle', PSB, Sonus Faber and Usher from what I have seen.
