Hey Greg,

Yes, that was cruel, but hey, you know what they say about payback :D

Take care Greg and try not to look over your shoulder too much.......

Cheers and I think I feel a bit of a cold coming on so I better take a sick day that will coinside with delivery as I just checked the tracking and my sub is ON the truck

Have a good one

Remember last week when my credenza arrived and the pallet was nailed through the credenza? Ouch...

Actually Greg now that you mention it I do remember that about your credenza. Tough break.

I always worry about that when getting stuff shipped. Most of the time you have nothing to worry about in terms of replacement, but it is the body draining despair that enevelopes you when you see the thing you have been eagerly anticipating for so long is broken or damaged.

I feel your pain Greg as I have had it happen as well. Today though I am remaining positive that my sub will get here unscathed. I waited less than a week for it, but I don't think I could wait another

Cheers and good luck with the credenza endevour

You know I am just giving you a hard time...right? I bet it will get there just fine.

I seem to have bad luck with mail order stuff. Last week I had the credenza issue and the acoustic panel issue. Maybe the UPS guy hates me? Atleast the MPS-1 arrived in perfect condition.

Absolutely Greg. I know you know the anticipation felt when waiting for a prized item, such as your MPS-1. It is all taken in jest from one audioholic to another.

I felt the same way a couple years ago about mail order and customs and delivery. Ordered a few things out of the states and they all got held up in customs for weeks, got charged ridiculious duty on them, and they arrived damaged because customs did not repack them properly. Took a year to get my money back as everyone said it wasn't their fault. Turned me right off mail order.

My luck as of late has been very different. Quick ship times, minimal customs, no duty and a smiling delivery driver holding a pristine box out for me to accept.

Cheers Greg and good luck with your future deliveries

It arrived

To use an expression uttered by my wife on our first night together

"Oh my god it is so big"

Seriously now. Damn is that thing big, beautiful to. I only opened the box enough to take a peek at it as I am at work (starting to feel like I need a sick day though), and my new SVS t-shirt that Mason from SonicBoom audio threw in for free :D , and man am I impressed. If it sounds half as good as it looks I will be a very very happy man.

Cheers and I will post pics when it is all set up.

billy p,

Yeah no doubt. Unfortunately I have taken a few to many of those type of sick does. Boss sees me come back into my office with a box and all of a sudden I am going home sick

mazer,
Yes she did talk about your relationship. It was when her and I were talking about things not to do. Don't worry, I have given her great memories to help her block it all out :D

rnatalli,
I don't feel so well either. Went out at lunch and took dem beats suggestion. Just waiting for the carbonara to come back up. Figured the colors and milk would make the best impact, nevermind how it would smell in a couple of days

I think I feel it gurgling.......... :D

Now just to get home and rip open all the boxes. Just like christmas but better cause its all for me

Cheers all

It's funny how new boxes of toys make us feel and act like kids.

You had the sub delivered to work?

Totally Greg. The anticipation has been just like Christmas and now that it is here I have been smiling ear to ear for the last couple of hours.

Yeah, I get everything delivered to work as most deliveries are during the day and I hated getting home and find the "attempted delivery" notice. Meant I could have had it but I don't and now I have to figure out how to get it.

Receptionist is usually pretty good about my deliveries, but she was a bit miffed at this out. It is 70lbs and the UPS guy dropped it right in a space between her desk and the wall. She was pretty much trapped at her desk until I went and moved it.

Strange though. Just looked through my e-mail and this is the first time in quite awhile that I am NOT expecting a delivery. Better go buy something quick so I can track it :D

Take it easy Greg
