Toshiba REGZA 37HL67

I was curious if anyone here owns this Toshiba set, and if they are hapy with it, some of the reviews I read were very positive. I am looking for my first LCD set and have always liked Toshiba sets. I also am looking to keep the costs at around $1,000.00 to $1,100!

I see no one has replied to your post yet. Probably because you are not asking about a tv that costs more than $3000. If you haven't bought this, or any, set yet maybe I can help a little bit. I sell tv's for a living so I watch these things all day long. The 37HL67 is a very nice tv for the money. Color quality is very good, blacks aren't bad and Hi-Def images look great. Another set I would take a look at is the Sharp 37D43. That is also a very nice looking set. I don't know if this is happening everywhere, or just where I live, but the prices on Sharp tv's are dropping insanely fast. We are selling the 42D62 for $1299! If that isn't a deal I don't know what is. A few things I like about the Tosh over the Sharp is that the menu system is so much easier to use, the channels change very very quickly (on the Sharp when you change the channel you have to wait about 2-3 seconds before the channel actually changes.) Kind of silly things I know, but the channel thing can get really annoying over time. The Sharp had a little clearer image to me, but if you are interested in the Tosh I wouldn't hesitate for a minute. Hope that helps a little.

In my case, it's because he's asking about a TV that costs more than $300.

Thanks for the input and opinions of the Sharps and Toshibas. I'll be buying a new TV one of these days, and it's helpful to me to read the opinions of people that see these new TVs a lot.

I have one -- bought about a month ago.

So far, I'm very happy with it. I definitely haven't found anything else that seems to be better in any way. I'd easily recommend it to anyone!

I jsut bought the Toshiba 32" LCD (32HF67U) for my bedroom and love it. Most content in the bedroom will be SD (for now, anyway) and it looks better than I expected. I saw HD through the same set at a friend's house and it looks excellent. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Toshiba.
