New Sony 70" or new car...hmmm?

Just had a look at the new Sony KDL70XBR3 LED backlight LCD monitor. Ok, it's huge but it's also $40,000 Canadian!! Picture was nice, but would one not be wiser grabbing a projector and screen at that point that can go even larger?

For almost everyone a projector is a better choice, but if for some reason you have to have a 70 inch screen in a medium-high light environment then the LCD is the way to go, if you can afford it, because a projector just won't perform well in that situation.
